Tin Pan South Salutes Watkins Students!
For Immediate Release: January 8, 2008
This year NSAI enlisted the help of Watkins College of Art & Design students in the Graphic Design department to create the artwork for the 16th Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival. Under the guidance of their professor Dan Brawner, 12 students submitted their creative interpretations of the craft of songwriting, with images based on the festival's acoustic focus and Music City heritage. From the 12 submissions, Kristin Schleihs' at WACD was chosen for this year's Tin Pan South artwork. Kristin's image will be featured in print advertising and on the festival website.
Many thanks to all the students for their exceptional hard work and to Dan Brawner for his help with the project.
