2025 TIN PAN SOUTH FESTIVAL A SUCCESS! DATES ANNOUNCED FOR 34TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL

Nashville, TN – (April 8, 2025) – Celebrations remain high at the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) after a successful week showcasing hundreds of songwriters at the 33rd annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival presented by Regions Bank. Welcoming over 12,000 fans on March 25-29, 2025, the event hosted 105 shows, many of which were filled to capacity, while songwriters stepped into the spotlight to share their talents and support NSAI’s mission to advocate, educate, celebrate and elevate the profession of songwriting.
With the feel of an annual “reunion” for songwriters, last minute lineup additions and special guest appearances are tradition, adding to the excitement of the week. Surprise guest appearances included Lukas Nelson, Abby Anderson, and Morgan Evans, as well as numerous songwriters who had previously performed in a scheduled round excitedly joining other friends on stage to continue their time with the festival as the event went on.
In true Tin Pan fashion, venue to venue and show to show featured a wide variety of genres and songs that spanned decades. On Friday night, fans of the show Nashville got to relive their favorite TV drama through song, where Charles Esten led a round featuring writers from the hit show. Performers appearing included Jaida Dreyer, Andrew Rollins, Trent Dabbs, Buddy Miller, and Arum Rae. The show held particular significance for the festival as it was selected as the official charity show, with ticket proceeds going to benefit Alive (Alive Hospice). Alive is the sole nonprofit hospice in Middle Tennessee, providing personalized care to nearly 5,000 patients and their families annually and grief support services for more than 700 adults and children in Middle Tennessee.
Ticketholders who attended shows at AB Hillsboro Village (Nashville Scene Stage) throughout the week sang along with smash hits like “Sorry Not Sorry” (Demi Lovato) and “Here” (Alessia Cara) in the Friday 6:00 p.m. round featuring Pynk Beard, Oak Felder, Austin Nivarel, and Dave Pittenger, and then in the 9:00 p.m. round that same day, the room was filled with country favorites such as “Carrying Your Love With Me” and “Carried Away” (George Strait), “Every Mile a Memory” (Dierks Bentley), all co-written by Steve Bogard who performed with KK Johnson, Ben Roberts, and Sam Williams!
Over in East Nashville, newest venue addition Love & Exile hosted everything from folk rock songwriter Judah Akers of Judah and the Lion, to outlaw countryman Struggle Jennings, American Idol stars Chayce Beckham and HunterGirl, and several mega hit country songwriters. A sample of hits that could have been heard throughout the week at the venue include “Made For You” (Jake Owen), and “Thinking ‘Bout You” (Dustin Lynch ft. MacKenzie Porter) by Joey Hyde, “Jesus Take The Wheel” (Carrie Underwood) co-written by Brett James, “The Painter” (Cody Johnson) co-written by Kat Higgins, and “The Good Ones” (Gabby Barrett) co-written by Emily Landis.
